Hotty Toddy! Chi Psi Fraternity is excited to congratulate you on your acceptance to the University of Mississippi. Your choice to attend the State's flagship university is your first of many towards a successful collegiate career.

The Brothers of Chi Psi, first and foremost, take great pride in being men of the community, and that means being men of Ole Miss. As a man of Ole Miss, we hope that you would also seek to become an Ole Miss Fraternity man, which will provide you with the values and skills necessary to truly represent the values of the Ole Miss Family.

Founded Nationally in 1841, Chi Psi Fraternity has more than 30 active chapters nationwide, with Alpha Gamma at the University of Mississippi being the sixth installation. Since 1858, Alpha Gamma has upheld the values of brotherhood, personal growth, and accountability set forth by our founders. Brothers of Alpha Gamma continue to focus on becoming well-rounded men of Ole Miss, meaning emphasis on both social and academic life.

As a Fraternity that values its brotherhood above all else, selection of new members and the rush process requires a steady devotion of time and effort. While Fall Rush at Ole Miss is where most Fraternal recruitment occurs, Alpha Gamma of Chi Psi is dedicated to a year-round rush process in both the fall and spring. Some of our most exciting events throughout recruitment have included: rush parties, crawfish boils, pool tournaments, poker and cigar nights, and many watch parties for major sporting events. During those events, potential new members are given the opportunity to get a true picture of the brotherhood we value so highly at Alpha Gamma.
